Hello Lovelies,

In my last column, I told you I thought it was only a matter of time before Nigel Hartagan would be a free man after I heard about him and supermodel Natalia. Apparently, things came to a head after Melinda Stone hosted Charles Capri’s Model of the Moment competition. While Melinda and Nigel started the evening as a couple, they left separately. Poor Nigel, looked awfully lonely as he left the party, but I’m sure he wasn’t lonely for long.

Besides his bust-up with Melinda, Sambuka Fedora has had a brief setback on their next album as there was tension in the studio between Nigel, Tristan Langford, and Julian Johnson. Hopefully, they can reconcile whatever issue they have as they’re due to reconvene in a Paris studio to finish the album and do press for their next single Danger Bound. That’s one premier I’m looking forward to being, a correspondent on the red carpet. Besides Sambuka Fedora being dressed to the nines, we know Mason Langford will be there. No doubt, he’ll wear a tux and show us why he was the right choice to play Agent Bound. Though I wonder who he might walk the red carpet with. While he has attended his past premiers with his mother, Raquel. One has to ask when one of the most eligible bachelors in Hollywood will finally settle down.

In other couple's news, I’m curious about the status of Russell Langford’s marriage. He and Hollywood darling Helen Langford have avoided the tabloids for years, however, things seem to be changing. Within a day after Russell arrived in New York City, he was seen exiting a limo with a mysterious blonde wearing his suit coat before heading into Carlyle for the evening. Sources confirmed the two tried to keep their distance as they boarded the elevator, but said you could definitely tell something was going on between them.

I spotted Russell the very next day sipping afternoon tea at the hotel with the same woman before strolling over to The Met Museum. The following day, a brunette joined the pair for a trip to the Chelsea Street Market. Even though they had company, the two shared a lot of PDAs. One has to wonder if there isn’t trouble in paradise for him to be stepping out with this mystery woman.

It took me almost a week of digging before I could finally confirm who Russell was getting cozy with. It was none other than this year’s winner of the Model of the Moment contest, Ava Richards. Yes, the very contest he was judging. One has to wonder if he didn’t help persuade the other judges to give Ava the title or what she had to do for Russell so she could win. I’m sure some of the other contestants are wondering the same thing.

After Ava won, she and Russell were seen at the Palladium on Saturday, before the duo boarded Concorde to Paris. They were spotted taking in the sights and hitting the hottest clubs. I hope Ava knows who she’s messing with because Helen has been known to have a temper and if I were Ava, I wouldn’t want to suffer Helen’s wrath.

Lastly, Aidan Stringer was in town and was accessorizing each night with a new model or actress. With the way he looks and his single, ‘Forever Love’ climbing the charts, he was definitively the person to be seen with. Hell, yours truly might even fancy a night on the town with him, though now that Nigel is single, well, maybe getting past the velvet rope with the two of them for an evening of dancing is just what I need. Hmm, a girl can dream, can’t she?

Sambuka Fedora played a one-off surprise show at Danceteria. The brief show was a mix of new songs, including their forth coming release Dangerous Bounds. The crowd, including yours truly, went crazy when they broke into their biggest hit, Delight Me. While the crowd wanted more, the guys had other plans.

Bassist Nigel Hartagan and lead singer Tristan Langford headed over to the VIP section of Palladium, where I witnessed firsthand the trouble these two got up too. While I won’t go into details, I’ll just say while the models are away, the boys will play. Even though Tristan’s married, that didn’t stop a bevy of beauties from lining up to praise him in oh so many ways.

Nigel only had eyes for one, and it wasn’t his fiancé, Melinda Stone. His lady for the night was the model who only needs to go by one name, Natalia. She seemed to be just as interested in him. Maybe what he said in a recent interview about his engagement to Melinda not being permanent held some truth and he wasn’t ready to tie himself down, at least not with a wedding.

While Tristan and his crew of beauties closed the club down, Nigel left early on, much to the disappointment of yours truly.

Other popular gossip making the rounds is that singers Aidan Stringer and Russell Langford will be part of this year’s international model search. Charles Capri’s Model of the Moment contest is being held right here in New York City. While we will be delighted to hear Aidan croon, I’m kind of disappointed that we’ll just have to settle for watching Russell as he judges this year’s crop of beauties.

Melinda Stone is co-hosting, so look for Nigel Hartagan to be in the crowd, unless they’ve broken up by then.

Else where thankfully, Grace Filmore’s obsessive fan has been apprehended by police. However, it makes you wonder if all the press coverage didn’t help shoot her latest release, Tears of My Heart, to number one. Hmm, maybe it was all just a setup? After all, they say there is no such thing as bad press.

Breaking news and it is a very sad day indeed. Not sure, if you’ve heard, but Nigel Hartagan is officially off the market. Yes, I know I’m breaking millions of hearts, but it’s true, and no, he didn’t reconcile with Melinda Stone. Some may suspect that the lucky lady is Natalia, but it’s not.

This is where it gets interesting.

The last time I reported, yours truly told you about how Russell Langford seemed to step out on his wife Helen, with the newly crowned Model of the Moment winner, Ava Richards.

Whatever was going on between the pair has definitely come to a grinding halt as Ava eloped with Nigel Hartagan in Gibraltar on October 30th. Talk about a whirlwind courtship. In less than a month, Ava went from Russell to marrying Nigel. This couple was definitely not on my radar.

After all, it was just last month when Nigel proclaimed on M-TV that he wasn’t sure he would never get married and settle down. Maybe the truth there is that he meant that about Melinda, considering he is now a married man. Time will tell if this union lasts or if it was just a wild weekend that led to a Vegas-style quickie wedding. Of course, there could be more to it and this new couple had been secretly together for months before Ava ever won, if that’s the case that may be the reason for the quickie wedding. Maybe Ava’s expecting.

Oh, the scandal that would be, considering Melinda was hosting the contest. If Ava is expecting, then we’ll have to wonder who's the Daddy.

After all, she was sighted in New York and Paris with Russell Langford. They made the French tabloids as they were cozy and clubbing in Paris, as well as taking in the sites. Some might think Nigel might be getting trapped. However, maybe they are all in on it because we all know that Nigel and Sambuka wouldn’t be where they are if it wasn’t for Russell signing them.

No matter, one has to wonder what Ava Richards has to be able to get. Not one, but two of the sexiest men alive to follow her around the world. Maybe she’ll tell me the secret if I ask.
